Means those services required to be proved by the facility in order to<br>obtain and maintain a license and include, in such combinations as may<br>meet the needs of the residents and be applicable to the type of facility to<br>be operated, the following: safe and healthful living accommodations;<br>personal assistance and car; observation and supervision; planned<br>activities; food service; and arrangements for obtaining incidental medical<br>and dental care<br>Capacity<br>(Ans &#8211; Means that maximum number of persons authorized to be provided<br>services at any one time in any license facility<br>Certificate holder<br>(Ans &#8211; Means a person who has a current administrators certificate issued<br>by the dept regardless of whether the person is employed as an<br>administrator in a residential care facility for the elderly<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conservator<br>(Ans &#8211; A person appointed by the superior court to care for the person<br>estate or both of an adult<br>Control of property<br>(Ans &#8211; The right to enter, occupy and maintain the operation of the facility<br>property within regulatory requirements<br>Deficiency<br>(Ans &#8211; Any failure to comply with any provision of the RCFE and regulations<br>adopted by the dept pursuant of the act<br>Dementia<br>(Ans &#8211; The loss of intellectual function and other cognitive functions<br>sufficient to interfere with an individual&#8217;s ability to perform ADL&#8217;s or to carry<br>out social or occupational activities<br>Elderly person<br>(Ans &#8211; For purposes of admission into a residential care facility for the<br>elderly, a person who is 60 yrs or older<br>Emergency approval to operate<br>(Ans &#8211; Means a temporary approval to operate a facility for no more than 60<br>days pending the issuance or denial of a license by the licensing agent<br>Exception<br>(Ans &#8211;
