VRRed currently doesn\u2019t have any online<br>presence, which in my opinion is a good clean start and would allow me to set a solid starting point<br>for the marketing campaign. I am asked by VRRed to promote their up-coming release of a game on<br>the first of June. Their main objective is to boost sales of their new product, I think that in order to<br>for them to successfully sell their product online, I will need to help to build a brand online. I think to<br>achieve the best results I will use cross platform marketing, engaging users all over the internet on<br>some of the most popular social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube).<br>VRRed are expecting to see quick results (due to the soon release of their product) and I will tailor<br>the marketing strategy and make it a bit more aggressive and engaging by keeping active and using<br>call to actions and cross-platform marketing. Further I will focus on mainly engaging the target<br>audience of young people of age around 12. Since the target audience is quite young rather than<br>focusing efforts on the quality of the graphics posts I will focus to create something more interesting<br>to look at and something that would intrigue the target audience. I would also keep in mind that<br>most likely the target audience will have to ask their parents to buy them the game so I will make<br>sure that the adverts I design can be relatable by an older audience as well.<br>Further to successfully meet the client requirement from VRRed I will keep clear communication<br>with them throughout and make sure that they are informed and have a say about the decisions<br>during the marketing campaign.<br>I will create two plans one will be for the social media content and the other for the entirety of the<br>social media campaign including the various stages of the campaign development.<br>I think the best features of the social media account I will be using (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)<br>would; Facebook: posting updates with pictures, videos and the ability to use hashtags to make the<br>post easier to find for your target audience; YouTube: the ability to use key words to optimise the<br>video to shop in relevant searches, the ability to have people subscribed to the posting channel to<br>sustain and grow a community, people can leave comments as well as like and dislike the content;<br>Titter: one of the best features is that because all the messages on twitter are short people have<br>more time to see more of them and usually the traffic is quite heavy it would make an ideal platform<br>for growing a follower base. Because of that I think twitter would be ideal for cross platform use as I<br>will redirect my followers from twitter to YouTube and Facebook to watch the trailers and take part<br>in the Facebook page. Twitter\u2019s unique feature to categorise everything with hashtags will be very<br>helpful reaching my target audience. I think all these features make these social media platforms<br>ideal to fulfil my clients\u2019 business requirements.<br>These social media platforms allow users to share content with others which is great as it will allow<br>the VRRed online community to grow by itself.
