Therefore it is very important<br>that inductions programs are well designed and executed<br>professionally.<br>The main objective of any induction program should be to<br>effectively integrate a new recruit into the company and to do so in a quick and<br>painless way. Further it should educate the new employees about the practices,<br>culture and performance standards of the company as well as the safety procedures.<br>Inductions are very important because they leave the first impression of the company<br>set the tone of the of the employer-employee relationship. As seen above a bed<br>induction can result in the employee leaving the company or in an incident if the<br>safety procedures weren\u2019t explained well.<br>The current induction programme of Alton Towers has a lot of areas that need<br>improvement, this document contains a new improved induction programme which<br>has an aim to increaser the employees\u2019 satisfaction thus improve the retention rate<br>as well as the health and safety of both employees and customers. Alton Towers is a<br>Theme Park and holiday resort which operates from the end of March to the end of<br>October. This means that most employees are employed only temporarily. Because<br>the company is in the entertainment\/resort business the customer experience is very<br>important \u2013 Alton Towers relays heavily on returning customers. This new improved<br>training programme will also ensure that employees are prepared to meet the<br>customers\u2019 expectations thus providing the best customer experience. Further the<br>company is very much family-oriented meaning that the environment has to be family<br>friendly. This also means that high standards of health and safety are required to<br>ensure that everyone is safe. To achieve safe environment, it is very important to<br>provide good training programme for the employees. The following induction<br>programme takes into account all of the above points and improves the current<br>programme offered by Alton Towers.<br>Research on the existing Alton Towers<br>induction programme<br>I went on glassdoor.com to see the reviews from former Alton Towers employees.<br>While a lot of the reviews are positive and say that the company provides free food<br>others complain that the managers don\u2019t treat the staff well.
