2026 Illinois DMV Charter Endorsement Test 2

This endorsement is required to operate a charter-type bus when transporting school children grades 12 and under on any type of school trip. To receive this endorsement, applicants must pass a written test. The test consists of 20 multiple choice questions. To pass, the applicant must answer at least 16 questions correctly. Test questions come from the Illinois Commercial Driver’s License Study Guide. Questions come from chapters covering: Passengers and School buses.
