Actually, the questions do reflect certain aspects of anthropology. Some anthropologists spend their time looking in the ground for fossils of early humans (physical anthropologists) or excavating sites for evidence about past societies (archaeologists), and others go off to places like Samoa or New Guinea to study the lives of peoples in other societies (cultural and social anthropologists). Many anthropologists, however, do none of these kinds of research. Instead, they may devote their time to studying the verbal games of inner city street gangs (linguistic anthropologists), the dreams and dream interpretations of the Mehinaku Indians of Central Brazil (psychological anthropologists), or the indigenous healing techniques used in Taiwan (medical anthropologists).
