Establish the hospital's objectives and procedures.
Customer's Purpose: After 8 decades, the medical & patient records
process is to redevelop, in order to reflect the hospital's goal and implement a software
that improves patient care.
Objectives: The primary objective of this plan is to assure the new system
complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act or (HIPAA) laws
and regulations, and able to safely, and securely manage sensitive patient financial and
medical information.

Function: Western View Hospital facility can sustain up to 100 beds.They
render healthcare for the local rural community. Some of Western View Hospital’s
capabilities are: Patient admissions, diagnosis, treatment, surgeries, and record-keeping
that take occurrence on a daily basis.
Process: The installation of new digital systems for communication, includes
billing and invoicing, electronic health records (E.H.R.), and medical and patient records.
Practice: Patient confidentiality, stringent training for employees, routine system
maintenance and update, and observance of medical ethics and standards are all
valuable critical functions.
