I believe "Better days through better ways" is a phrase that should be applied to all aspects of

life. By applying, better ways of thinking to any task we have before us and by having a better

attitude, we can create better days for ourselves and those around us.

Answer:

We MUST believe in future of agriculture. Agriculture provides food for the world and with the

population expected to reach 10 billion people by 2050, the production for food is more

important than ever. Agriculture is one of the oldest industries and we must continue to believe

in it because it supplies the product that is in highest demand: food.

Answer:

"life abundant" suggests that there is a lot more to experience that one's immediate surroundings

opportunities present themselves everyday and agriculturists need to take advantage of these

opportunities

Q: What can you do as a freshman in agricultural education to help develop leadership ability?

Answer:

I believe by participating in speaking contests, camps, and other FFA activities I can become

more mature, organized, responsible, and a more active, reliable contributor to the FFA. I believe

these qualities will be reflected if I stay involved and they will all contribute to my leadership

ability.

Q: What is your favorite line or phrase of the FFA Creed? Why?

Answer:

My favorite line of the FFA Creed is "In less dependence on begging and more power in

bargaining." because as agriculturists, we do not beg, we bargain. By bargaining, we are

developing a strong and reliable relationship with our customers and are providing a strong bond

and trust so that people know that they can rely on us , and so that they ultimately respect us and

make them have a good opinion of us.

Q: How can living and working on a good farm or being engaged in other agricultural pursuits

be pleasant, as well challenging?

Answer:

Every year, my family goes and cuts wood since we have a wood stove in order to keep warm

during the winter. While we reap the benefits of being warm in the winter when it is below

freezing outside, there are challenges that come along with it. Often I am sore for days after we

finish cutting from staying bent down or moving heavy pieces, and this year I had to miss a

school event I was really looking forward to because we were cutting wood.

Q: How will American agriculture affect the future of our country?

Answer:

American agriculture will affect the future of our country tremendously. As creating jobs is one

of the main points that politicians today argue, agriculture is the leading provider of jobs. If we

continue to advocate for agriculture, we will create more American jobs, bettering the American

economy.
