Only when done for remuneration and for the public. Not for treatment of disease, or physical/mental ailments Barber - A person who is licensed to engage in the practice of barbering in a state under its authority Purpose of Regulation - Legislation deems it necessary in the interest of public health, safety, and welfare. Restrictions imposed only if necessary to protect the public from recognized dangers AND in a manner not affecting the competitive market Citation - an instrument which meets requirements set forth, and is served upon a subject for purpose of assessing a penalty in an amount established by this rule. Department disposes of this citation after 6 months Biennial Renewal - Each licensed barber who continues to practice/service shall renew license every 2 years
