activating appropriate muscles and glands.
3. digestive system breaks down food into absorbable units that
enter the blood for distribution to body cells.

1. the receptor- receives info that something
in the environment is changing.
2. the control center- receives and processes
information from the receptor.
3. the effector- responds to the commands
of the control center by either opposing or
enhancing the stimulus.
9. what is homeostasis? the bodys attempt to maintain a constant internal enviroment.
