in the MSN program and as a practicing nurse:
Notes: I selected Alexa Ponti to achieve my academic goal as she helped me
understand how online programs work. She was routinely calling me to check on me and see if I have any more questions or if she can help me with anything. Her calmness and patience touched my heart and I felt very positive and supported. She is the main reason why I enrolled and accepted my admission at Walden.

Notes: I selected Ryan, my Student Success Advisor to help me achieve my academic goal by guiding me throughout my MSN program journey. Ryan already made me aware of a wide variety of resources Walden offers to all their students. He told me about writing center, Grammarly, 24 hours technical support, etc. which would help me achieve my academic goal of becoming a pro in writing scholarly papers following APA format. He also explained me how to navigate classroom and blackboard. He encouraged me to join the Facebook group for additional support and this would also help me achieve my academic goal of networking with other students. His guidance made me feel relaxed and assured me that he is there to guide me all the way up till my graduation.

Why I selected this individual and/or team and how they will support my success
in the MSN program and as a practicing nurse:
Notes: My coworker Dianne recently graduated and pursued her Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She encouraged me to advance my career by pursuing Master’s and become a nurse practitioner. She informed me how rewarding it is when she is able to provide 1:1 care to her patients and treats them on individual basis. I know after I pursue my degree as nurse practitioner, it will help me attain my professional goal of making difference and helping patients on 1:1 basis. I will get to work on individualized plan of care. I can rely on Dianne for any guidance throughout this journey as she is very knowledgeable, helpful and caring person and would be always willing to be there for me.
