ANTICIPATED NURSING INTERVENTIONS
Nutrition monitoring
Frequent positioning 30-45 degrees;semi-fowlers position

Splinting when coughing
Decompression of gastric via Nasogastric Tube with suction
Fluid management and maintenance
Wound Care/Incision care if surgery is needed
Monitor for hypovolemic shock
