3. Inevitable abortion
treatment?

-moderate bleeding, mild to severe cramping, no passage of tissue, cervical dilation
-Treatment= Expectant management if no pain, bleeding, or infection but if present prompt
termination of pregnancy surgically or by D&C
4. Missed abortion
Treatment and interventions?

-in utero death before 20 weeks, no bleeding, no cramping, no tissue passed, no cervical
dilation, NO FHR
-Treatment= Expectant management or can be terminated with oral or vaginal misoprostol
