-Make sure pts swallow enteric-coated orsustained-release forms whole and do not crush or
chew them.
-Discontinue 1 week before scheduled surgery
-Monitor for initial and continued therapeutic effects.

Answer
Take with food, milk, or 8oz of water to minimize GI effects.
Avoid alcohol.
Report persistent gastric irritation and signs of bleeding. Report any unusual or prolonged
bleeding.

Answer
-Inflammation suppression
-Analgesia for mild to moderate pain
