Levels of Care:
◠Primary- health promotion → office/clinic visits, nutrition counseling, family planning, etc
◠Preventative Care- program based → cancer screening, immunizations, mental health

◠Secondary- diagnosis & treatment of acute illness/injury → emergency care, acute med/surg
care, x-rays, CT scans
◠Tertiary-specialized/ highly technical care → ICU care, oncology or burn centers
◠Restorative- intermediate follow-up care for restoring health → home health, rehab, SNF
◠Continuing- long-term or chronic health care needs → palliative or hospice care, adult daycare
Subjective Data- data from the client; what the client or family members say verbal description:
feelings, perceptions, and concerns. Collected through assessment.
Objective Data- observable and measurable data (physical exam, labs, diagnostic tests etc)
