How can these competencies be assessed and evaluated? - Some of the essential competencies that graduate-level nurses should demonstrate in their practice are: advanced clinical reasoning and decision making; evidence-based practice and quality improvement; interprofessional collaboration and communication; leadership and advocacy; ethical and legal principles; cultural competence and diversity; health promotion and disease prevention; health policy and systems thinking; informatics and technology; innovation and entrepreneurship.
