Chapter 1: Electrocardiography Preface/Introduction This chapter includes introductory information about the field of electrocardiography, as well as legal, ethical, communication, and patient education information. In addition, the chapter addresses basic vital signs and troubleshooting. Competency checklists are included to practice checking vital signs.
