How can the national or state FFA association help you train for a job in the retail flower shop? The FFA organization has contests that allow students the opportunity to produce floral arrangements. This type of contest gives students practical designing experience that would help in a retail flower shop. 4. Why is a friendly service attitude an important attribute of a salesperson? The salesperson is usually the first person a customer encounters in a shop. A salesperson’s friendly attitude communicates to the customer how the salesperson feels about himself or herself, the company he or she represents, and the customers. Customer satisfaction is just as important as the designs in the florist shop. 5. How can designers gain more experience in floral design and learn the latest techniques? Designers can gain more experience in floral design and learn the latest techniques by participating in the design schools and workshops provided by their state florist
