Inhoud:

Macronutriënten -Koolhydraten -Vetten -Eiwitten Macronutriënten zijn belangrijk voor de instandhouding van het lichaam, vooral herstel, weefstelopbouw etc.

  • Koolhydraten
  • Koolhydraten bestaan uit koolstof, waterstof en zuurstof.

De standaardformule is: (CH2O)n

n kan een getal zijn tussen de 3 en 7.

1.Monosachariden Basiseenheid van alle koolhydraten; glucose, fructose, galactose.Galactose is niet te vinden in de natuur en is dus altijd verbonden aan glucose. Je lichaam kan zelf glucose aanmaken, dit proces heet gluconeogenese (glucoseproductie uit andere koolstofverbindingen als glycerol, lactaat etc.). Je krijgt glucose binnen via voeding, vervolgens wordt de glucose opgenomen door de darmen. Uiteindelijke wordt glucose opgeslagen in de vorm van glycogeen in de lever.

2.Oligosachariden Bestaan uit 2 tot 10 monosachariden, de meest voorkomende zijn disachariden. De meest voorkomende disachariden zijn: - Sucrose: deze disacharide zit het mee meeste in onze voeding
