IQR = 20 – 13 = 7.

b) See boxplot.

c) A typical value for X is 17 which is both the mean and the

median. About half the values are between 13 and 20. The boxplot shows that the upper tail is slightly longer, but difference is small and mean and median are equal. This distribution is roughly symmetric.
