  • Positive for gonorrhea or chlamydia

Treatment for PID - ANSWER - Ceftriaxone 500mg IM x1 (OR Cefoxitin 2 g IM x1 and Probenecid 1 g orally in a single dose, OR other 3rd gen cephalosporin)

PLUS Doxycycline 100mg BID x 14 days

PLUS Metronidazole 500mg BID x 14 days
