Design
Introduction
This document will be covering the design and development as well as the evaluation of the website. The website that will be made will be called PowClothing, an e-commerce website that sells second hand clothing.
Requirements
There are basic requirements the website needs to meet such as it loading quickly, all media types loading at correct proportions, as well as the website being clear regarding navigation.
Consistency needs to be maintained throughout when it comes to text; fonts, colours and sizes; layout and colour pallets need the same on every page unless it is necessary for a page to be presented otherwise, if the contents or purpose of a specific page are unique to the rest; this page is likely not to need this, but it is something to keep in mind.
The website will also need to allow the user to access other pages or media types considering this is an e-commerce site, there needs to be as many ways and means to see the content as possible. This will mainly be done through external links.
Communication through the website must also be implemented, directly through the website or externally to other methods. The site will provide a simple and easy way to send emails directly to the company, and as previously mentioned will have links to social media as a way to communicate.
There are also some requirements that are not fundamental to a website, however will be used to make the site look professional.
