Antidote: Narcan

diazepam Benzodiazepine; Antianxiety; potentiates GABA, abuse potential, tolerance. SE: CNS effects (sedation, dizzy, confusion) Muscle relaxant.

lorazepam Antianxiety; Antiseizure; Benzodiazepine; CNS depressant (sedation), blackout, respiratory depressant; assess fall, monitor respiration if on other CNS depressant.atorvastatin, rosuvastatin Antihyperlipidemic; MONITOR LIVER ENZYMES, ASSESS FOR MUSCLE PAIN AND TENDERNESS (myopathy) , REPORT TO DR IF PRESENT; Statin prednisone Antiinflammatory; Corticosteroid; Antileukemic drug; Administer before 9 AM to mimic normal peak corticosteroid blood levels; Increase dosage during stress; Taper doses; Do not give live virus vaccines.Causes Cushing like symptoms. Do not give to children with viral infection (Reye syndrome). potential for toxicity- salicylism - sxs tinnitus. monitor stools. take with food.ibuprofen NSAID. Take with food or milk; contraindicated for people with GI ulcers phenytoin (phenytoin). Causes gingival (gum) hyperplasia. Advice client to visit dentist frequently

warfarin Monitor pt's lab work--PT, INR. therapeutic INR for proper anticoagulation is 2-3. Antidote is Vitamin K benztropine Used to treat EPS & Parkinson's Disease carbidopa/levodopa levodopa/carbidopa; Drug is effective when tremors are not observed. treats parkinson's disease digoxin Signs of toxicity: Pt will complaint of visual change in colors. Side effects - most common is bradycardia. Monitor apical rate before giving. Less than 60 hold and call physician. Electrolytes - monitor potassium levels.
