mental, shock, chest pain, acute heart failure --> synchronize cardioversion STABLE V T= no se of instability? --> give them an arrhythmic medication (amioderone/lidocaine) NO PULSE --> START CPR AND PREPARE TO DEFIB *must know by sight!* Accele Idioventricular Idioventricular Torsades de Pointe AM!!caused by PROLONGED QT interval usually due to HYPOMAGNESIUM or meds

• IV Magnesium

• d/c qt-prolonging meds
